Only checks and stripes [2]

I have made the back of this quilt with the fabrics in the image above. I have put the 3 layers together and used safety pins to hold them in place. I have started free montion quilting, and the binding is cut and ready to finish the quilt. 

On my next post I'll show it all done and ready to be used :)

Fiz a parte de trás deste quilt com os tecidos na imagem acima. Coloquei os 3 layers juntos e usei alfinetes de segurança para os manter no lugar. Comecei a fazer o acolchoamento com free montion quilting, e o binding está cortado e pronto para o acabamento do quilt.

No meu próximo post mostro-o acabado e pronto para a ser usado :)

Only checks and stripes

For this quilt top, I randomly used a bunch of check and stripe fabric scraps. You never know how something like this is going to turn out but the end result is usually a nice surprise.

Para este quilt top, usei um monte de retalhos de riscas e xadrezes posicionados aleatoriamente. É difícil saber como vai ser o resultado final de algo feito assim, mas geralmente a surpresa é boa.

The fabric for the quilt back is already cut and ready to be pieced together. 

It's going to be mainly white with a only few squares of colour.

O tecido para a parte de trás do quilt já está cortado e pronto para ser unido.

Vai ser predominantemente branca, apenas com alguns quadrados de cor.

Once the back is done I just need to decide how I am going to quilt it, but one thing at a time...

Depois da parte de trás pronta só é preciso decidir como é que vou fazer o acolchoamento, mas uma coisa de cada vez...
